ShuffleUp

Terms of Use

Last updated 9 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ShuffleUp covering your use of the ShuffleUp mobile app and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Your licence to use ShuffleUp

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ShuffleUp on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

2. What you may not do

  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Rent, sell, sublicense or redistribute the app.
  • Use the app to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or interfere with the service or other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account.

3. Accounts

You can use ShuffleUp as a guest. If you create an account, you are responsible for the activity that happens under it and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly at hello@shuffleup.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

4. Advertising

ShuffleUp is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.

5. Our intellectual property

ShuffleUp, its name, logo, artwork, dice designs, card decks, copy and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features at any time, and we may release updates that your device installs automatically. We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. ShuffleUp is a convenience tool for games — it is not a substitute for a game’s own official components or rules, and we make no promise that its dice, timers or scores are suitable for competitive or officiated play.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill arising out of your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for it (which for a free app is nothing) or USD 25. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.

9. Termination

You may stop using ShuffleUp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Sections 5 through 10 survive termination.

10. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and ShuffleUp only, not with Apple or Google. Those companies are not responsible for the app or its support, but they are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use is also subject to the applicable app store terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use ShuffleUp after a change means you accept it.
