Delete your account

You can delete your ShuffleUp account and its data inside the app. This includes anonymous guest accounts: you do not need to register first. An internet connection is required.

Steps

• Open ShuffleUp and make sure you are signed in to the account you want to remove.
• Tap the gear icon in the top-right of the home screen to open Settings.
• Under Account, tap your name, Your account, or Guest account, then tap Delete account.
• Confirm deletion. Registered accounts may need a password or a fresh Google/Apple sign-in before cleanup begins. Canceling that step stops deletion.

What gets deleted

• Your ShuffleUp account record and authentication credentials.
• Your saved game setups.
• Your account’s Sound Effects and Haptic Feedback preferences.
• Your custom-card additions and hidden-card text.
• Your play statistics and recent activity.
• Your account-owned local active session and recent-card history.

This is permanent and cannot be undone. After successful deletion, the app creates a new empty guest account so you can keep playing.

If a network or service error interrupts deletion, some records may already have been removed. The app shows an error; reconnect and retry to finish deleting the remaining data.

What is not affected

Deleting your ShuffleUp account does not delete your Apple, Google or email account. Some device-wide convenience preferences, such as whether you have seen the welcome screen, remain. Data processed independently by advertising or sign-in providers is subject to their own retention and deletion controls; this action does not delete those providers’ records.

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email hello@shuffleup.app from the address on the account to request deletion. We will need to verify account ownership and will respond within 30 days. Guest accounts have no associated email address, so identifying a guest account may require information from the device. Do not send us your password.
