The d20 is under the couch
Half a set of dice, and the one you need is always the one that rolled away. Board games ship with dice for that board game — nothing else.
Your game night toolkit
ShuffleUp puts the four things every tabletop night actually needs — dice, a turn timer, a score keeper and card decks — in one app. Pick what tonight’s game needs and start playing in seconds.
Coming soon. Free to play as a guest.
The problem
Half a set of dice, and the one you need is always the one that rolled away. Board games ship with dice for that board game — nothing else.
Somebody unlocks a phone, digs out the clock app, sets a timer, forgets to start it. Four minutes gone before the turn begins.
And the napkin gets a drink set on it. Nobody remembers whether Priya was on nine or nineteen, and the argument lasts longer than the round.
The toolkit
Every die, every game
D4 through D20, roll up to 12 dice at once, with the total worked out for you. Physical dice you can see land — not a number that just appears.
Keep the turn moving
A countdown built for game night. Tap +30s or +5m and hit go. Enable notifications to receive an alert while your phone is locked; timing and sound depend on your device settings.
Settle it before it starts
Add everyone, give them a colour, and tap up or down. The leader wears the crown, recent changes are logged, and nobody has to defend their memory of round three.
Make the deck yours
A full 52-card poker deck plus four party decks for the nights nobody brought a game. Add your own prompts, hide the ones your table always skips, and the deck you draw from is the deck you actually want.
How it works
Tap the tools this game needs. Catan wants dice and a score keeper. Charades wants a timer and a deck.
Every tool you picked sits in the bottom bar. No hunting through apps mid-turn.
Save a game once and the same tools are one tap away every time you play it.
Details that matter at a table
Add your own prompts to any party deck and hide the ones that never land.
On iPhone, the timer and scoreboard live on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so the phone can stay face up and locked.
Rolls and buzzers feel real — and both toggle off when the table wants quiet.
No email needed to play. Register to recover your synced setups and deck edits on another device.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android, with the same four game-night tools.
Every tool, no paywall. Ads keep the lights on and stay out of your way.
Questions
Yes. Every tool — dice, timer, score keeper and card decks — is free. The app is supported by a small banner ad.
No. You can start playing as a guest the moment you open the app. Creating an account with email, Apple or Google only matters if you want your saved game setups and deck edits to follow you to another device.
ShuffleUp is built for iPhone and Android. Store downloads will be available here after launch.
That is exactly what the dice roller is for. D4 through D20, several dice at once, with totals and a roll history you can scroll back through.
Background alerts require notification permission. On Android, precise alerts also need Alarms & reminders access. Restarting your phone or force-stopping the app can prevent an alert. Reopening ShuffleUp restores the timer paused; resume it to schedule a new alert.
Yes. Every party deck has an editor where you can type in your own prompts, hide any card you never want to see again, and delete the ones you added. The standard 52-card deck stays as it is.
On supported iPhones, Live Activities can show the timer and scoreboard on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Background notifications require permission and follow your device’s sound and power settings.
From Settings inside the app. Deleting your account removes your data — you never have to email anyone to get it done.
